I'm a 14year old male and i think i have thrush

Question Posted Tuesday March 20 2007, 1:56 pm

i'm not sure what to do, can it occur without sexual contact because i'm a virgin and i need to know. I am worried sometimes i will not be able to have children, it's probably me being silly but....these are the syptoms i'm having
-Very tight for skin-
-clear discharge
-Red on the tip of my penis
-very small thick bits of semen appearing under my forskin after masturbation
-and small spotson my forskin that are only visible on the tip when you pull it back
-there is also discomfort when ever i touch the red part on the tip of my penis

Is this thrush and should i see a doctor?
i would like to avoid telling my parents if at all possible

thankyou

Hi
i think that you should go see a doctor right away!
I think you should also tell your parents because this could be serious and you need to make sure everything is ok. There might not be anything wrong but you have to be sure and see a doctor. Its always to be safe then sorry. Ok well i hope everythin is ok with you and i hope everything works out for you. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask me at anytime.

Yes, you should see a doctor. It is not caused by having sex. Here is an article on it for you. It does give some treatments you can try and some ways to prevent it. :)
