CHI?

Question Posted Wednesday March 14 2007, 7:58 pm

Okay...so heres the deal. I just got a CHI.. for 160 dollars. Now, it heats nice and all, and when I was trying it I tried turning it with little bit of my hair in it to see if it really could keep it like that, and it did make a little flippy-kinky thing.. However, I tried numerous times going over that section to straighten it out and it WOULD NOT straighten all the way! I thought this was one of the best straighteners ever? My hair is naturally wavy and I like it better straight, so it kind of bugs me that it couldn't even get out that small little flip. I don't want to return it though. Its not a defect because it heats up and everything.

I also have another question, the box says you can curl your hair with it? How do you do that? I heard you clip your hair in it and twist it around it, and I tried but it didn't work.

its because of the way you did it. its normal. just dont try curling it like that the only way i could figure out how to curl it with my chi is to rap it around the outside, because that part gets hot too. but if you have a ultra, it wont work because of the fabric on the outside.

hope i help i smidge.
(: xoxo
