A little snacking may not only keep your hunger in-check between meals, but may also leave you less tempted to overeat at dinner or any other time. However, some Research suggests that snacking throughout the day instead of sitting down for regular meals may lead to greater weight loss. Also eating several litle meals a day is better than eating 3 big meals a day, it's easier on slow metabolisms which might be the reason your not losing weight. Drinking 6-8 glasses or bottles of water a day is also proven to help lose weight faster.
If you have a faster metabolism you'll lose weight faster and have an easier time keping it off. Here a some ways to boost your metabolism:
1)GREEN TEA isn't known only for its cancer-fighting benefits: It may help boost your metabolism, too.
2) WEIGHT TRAINING is the ultimate way to burn calories fast. A pound of muscle burns up to nine times the calories of a pound of fat. Weight training increases your resting metabolic rate, which is the number of calories you burn while sitting on your butt. Try these: squats, bench step-ups, lunges, push-ups, pull-ups and crunches. Just do single sets of 10 for each exercise — you'll get optimal results for the time invested.
3) DO MORE DAIRY. Women who ate low-fat dairy products, such as nonfat yogurt and low-fat cheese, three to four times a day lost 70 percent more fat than low-dairy dieters, according to a study published in the journal Obesity Research. Calcium serves as a switch that tells your body to burn excess fat faster.
4) DON'T BLOW OF BREAKFAST. Studies show that eating breakfast plays a part in successful weight loss — almost 80 percent of people who successfully keep weight off eat breakfast, according to a study published in Obesity Research. Your metabolism slows as you sleep, and the process of digesting food revs it up again. Aim for a 300- to 400-calorie breakfast, such as a high-fiber cereal (another metabolism booster) with skim milk and fruit.
And most important get enough sleep. You should atleast get 7-10 hours a slep a night. So try this and se what happens.
Good Luck!
