cat problem.. major one

Question Posted Monday March 12 2007, 5:40 pm

I love my cat a lot. I wouldn't give her up for the world.. she's everything to me, but she sheds so much that there are hairs everywhere!!! On my bed, my clothes; any furniture at all, it's there. I do comb her several times a day but it does not help at all. Also, she hates baths! Last time I tried bathing her she scratched me all over and made a mess. I know most cats hate water but my point out of that was I don't know how to control her shedding! I also know it's summer soon, so shedding will happen no matter what But how can I control a lot of it?? It's just so much, it takes washing my furniture every day just to make my stuff look decent.

Please help!! Thanks

Well I would agree with the person below me you need to get lint brushes and go over furniture, clothes every morning, bedding and all. Also have you tried dry baths? And also you might want to consider getting her de-clawed. Also I know they sell brushes that have a suction to them and pull out loose hair. They are really worth the extra price in the end! Here in Ohio they cost about 20.00. You will have to get them on the dog section also they have normal cobs that are good to stop shedding but again they will be in dog brushes I will attatch a web site that has a list of combs that help to stop shedding! Haha, you don't need to wash your furniture. Just get a lint brush. That'll help. That way you don't need to wash your things everyday. Also, cats are always gonna shed. I doubt there's anything you can do to stop it.
