i can't seem to find any stores that sell Chanel purses! i went to chanel.com but it didn't work so well. i alos went to nordstroms.com and saksfifthavenue.com but all i could find was their skin care lines. are there any store websites that have Chanel purses?

PLEASE BE AWARE, Chanel does NOT authenticate items for buyers, due to the fact of the high number of fakes out there. They will never put anything in writing concerning the authenticity of their items. Anyone who guarantees a refund with proof from a boutique manager that the bag is fake is scamming you. Chanel employees will give you a verbal review of any Chanel bag, but NEVER put anything in writing. I have never seen any high end designer do this.
Fakes also come with the authenticity card and a matching sticker inside with the serial number.
No 2 bags will ever have the same serial number.
Chanel does not make the little silver "dog tag' that is attahced to many of the fakes.
Chanel does not include an attached make-up pouch with the Cambon bags that is included in many of the fakes.
Chanel dust bags which come with all purses are BLACK with the word CHANEL printed on the front in WHITE, nothing more. It does not say Paris or France on it and they are never WHITE with black writing.
Chanel boxes are heavy cardboard, BLACK with CHANEL on the front in WHITE, nothing more.
Chanel wallets come wrapped in a felt cloth in the black Chanel box, they do not come with a dustbag,
Avoid 1 day auctions, these sellers are trying to get past ebay and the VeRo program that reviews and removes counterfeit auctions.
Know the bag you are trying to purchase, is it smooth calfskin or the Chanel caviar leather (pebble grain in the leather). Know what lining it should have and so on. The more you know, the less chance you will have of getting ripped off.
Check the sellers feedback and return policy. Sellers should be willing to discuss the authenticity of the bag and its origin of where they obtained the bag. be aware of sellers who claim to have bought several from any website selling high end designer items at a much lower cost. I do not know any fashion house that wholesales or sells 2nds to outside sources. Chanels only come from their own boutiques and selected high end stores, such as Neiman, Saks, Bergdorfs and so on.
Use a credit card to make your purchase, it is much easier to get a refund when choosing this payment method. Once you file a fraud claim with them, they will issue a credit and investigate which usually works out for the scammed buyer. Paypal is very cooperative with the credit card companies when fraud is involved. It is a federal crime to sell counterfeits and also illegal to mail them thru the USPS. I know of sellers who have been arrested and prosecuted for this by the FBI. They now sit in Federal prison for 8 yrs. and hundreds of thousand of dollars of restitution to the buyers. They also had all their assets seized by the government. This type of crime is not taken lightly by law enforcement.
I have bought Chanel for 20 yrs and consider myself very knowledgeable. I am dedicated to preventing unscruptulous sellers from ripping unsuspecting buyers off. If you want a real Chanel, make sure you ask tons of questions and know what a real Chanel looks like, there is nothing next to the real thing, the qualtity is exceptional. Not a flaw on their leather goods, if the seams are not perfect, you see any loose stitching, crooked CC logo, the "tip" pocket on the back, as Coco herself referred to this little pouch, is not lined up perfectly with the rest of the stiching, then it is most likely a cheap knockoff. you can buy knockoffs almost anywhere for under 50.00, then these sellers are trying to pass them off and make a quick buck. and beleive me Paypal is not always quick to refund your money if the bag is not authentic.

try e-bay.com, a lot of those people will purchase a purse in new york from people that sell them on the street for less, but they are the real deal and in new condition. they usually include pictures so you can see what youre purchasing. hope i helped! :)

ebay.com....its a gift from god. you just have to be careful not to get a fake one. if it doesnt come with an authenticity card then dont buy it. if you know your designers and what they should look like you should have no problem
