Question Posted Sunday March 11 2007, 9:31 pm

I like my coworkers but I dont like my job, however, there is talk of our office (I cant use the real word or it would give away the type of industry I work in) might be converted into a training center which would be good for me because I may be able to get back into my field. Should I still look for another job or hold off until I find out if I can get the job I want at the training center

Alpha345 answered Sunday March 11 2007, 10:02 pm:
Always look at other jobs. That way there are backups in case of bad job security or financial troubles.

Do both of those things. Inquire about a new job and a job at the training center. Keep an open mind and wait for the right moment. Pick the one that best suites you and if you can get hired, go for it. If you can't then you have the other job to fall back on.
