desperate for friends (any organizations out there)

so basically i am stuck at a small private school in socal desperate for friends (my parents aren't letting me switch schools) but theres only 30-40 kids in each grade and most of the girls either complain every second of their lives or else there just straight up gossipy and mean ( i know everyone has their faults) but i don't have any friends at this school (i am even nice) anyway are there any organizations i can join that other teens meet other teens and do activities, etc...please help im desperate
Additional info, added Sunday March 11 2007, 1:55 am: ps i also play two different sports but one of them is a very ind. sport and the other is another ind. sport, but for classes and stuff im with adults
that probablyd oesnt have to do anything, but some people sometimes give advice like o go out of r asport
ps. at my school there are no clubs theres like 2 and ive already joined them, but looking for people outside of school and sports

I believe that you are a nice person, and everyone wants friends, I suggest .. trying as many new things at your school as you can, maybe meet other people in different grades? Get a job, you're fifteen you can get a working permit and get a job, and during that you meet TONS of new people. The boys and girls club, is a very nice way to meet people. Good luck!
