I had the same problem. Oil of olay makes a great moisturizer. The one in the jar, not the pink colored one in bottle. Also try aloe vera gel. The body shop has a great vitamin e moisturizer it's pink in color. You need to go to the drug store a get a cleanser, toner, day cream, and night cream made just for dry skin. Don't forget the eye cream. If you start a good skin care routine now when you're young you won't age before your time.

buy a face cleanser for dry skin and put face lotion on it twice a day after you wash it.
the sun will dry it out and cold weather.
so try to avoid both.

moisterize :)
I use Clean & Clear Oil-Free Oxygenating Ultra-Light Moisterizer.
But just because it works for me, doesn't mean it will work for you because we might have different skin types.
Many people I know use Neutrogena, and it works well on them...but when I tried it, my face peeled for like two days.
Just go to a drug-store and look around, and whatever seems to match what you're looking for..try it!:) If your skin has a reaction, it's not for you. OR you could just go to a doctor and he can recommend a specific brand for you:)
