Hair curling sizes

Question Posted Thursday March 8 2007, 10:12 pm

So I'm getting a hair curler, but I don't know what size to get. 1/2 inch, 1 inch, 2 inch? So could you send me links to pictures of curly hair, and tell me what size was used to get them?? Thanks<3

It really depends on what kind of curls you want. If you want tight, bouncy curls, get the smaller size. If you want soft, loose curls, go for the bigger size.

I have a 1 inch one that works well but you're probably better off with 3/4 unless you have really long hair. <3

Go for a 3/4 or 1 inch. Any smaller and the curls will be too tight, any bigger and they will be too loose.

This isn't just my opinion, its the advice most hair stylists give to clients. I've seen it in magazines, and heard it from hair stylists.

Sorry I don't have pictures, I just though you might like to know =)
