um..do all tampons look the same and are just a different size? Because I thought they were round on both ends so that when you insert it, it won't damage up there but I looked at thsi box of tampax pearls and on the picture on one end it's really sharp like a needle!

You are right, however, in your suspicion that not all tampons are the same. Some tampons claim to expand in all different directions to maximize anti-leakage protection. Personally, I find these annoying because they're a little trickier to get in and out. Some also have anti leak guards, which are good because then you won't have to worry about panti liners and such. Personally these also annoy me because man that thing is itchy! Anyway. I personally like the normal, no special features added boxes with different sizes, but they all pretty much work the same. [ junebug93's advice column | Ask junebug93 A Question ]
