archery this is for all you archers, ok 14/f started archery like 4 months ago maybe longer, anyway, i have about 5 arrows that i use, i dont shoot game, just like the sport i have a red foam target i bought fomr bass pro, but i was wondering, do i need to change my arrows , is there a certain number of times that an arrow can be used or a sign that it should be thrown away none of my arrows are broken but i just need to know

You can use your arrows as long as you want if they aren't damaged. If they're wooden arrows throw them out if you see any cracks in them. If they're alluminum, it's dangerous to shoot them if they get bent. Don't try to bend them back, just throw them out. Worn down tips or shaggy feathers are fine, but any other imperfections can make them quite dangerous. Check the feathers and make sure that they're glued on all the way. If not, that's something that you can fix. Since you're 14 you probably won't be growing that much more, but check the arrows every once in awhile to make sure that they are long enough for you. The arrows aren't nearly as dangerous as the bow can be. Cracks make it extremely dangerous. You might not have to throw it out though, just get a replacement part. Make sure that you wax the string a lot too. If it gets frayed, replace it. Find an archery shop in your area and browse around. There's lots of cool gadgets that you can have a lot of fun with.
