"space" means that you have your interests and he has his, but he probably doesn't feel the special "connection" between you anymore. he might be breaking up with you, but it could also mean that he doesn't get to do the things he did before he got w/ you, so maybe you need to TELL him that he should go hang with his friends or ask him to show you how to skateboard. be interested in what he likes, and so then he may feel differently....

From the way you are talking it sounds like you are a little desperate and he really DOES need space. Try not to be so clingy and thinking about "together forever" because it scares guys off. Maybe you could use this time to think about why you need to be with him so much. If you become a little more independent and
self-confident and actually give him the space he asked for, and then talk about it after a while with him it may just work. Let him come to you though. You aren't broken up so he can't just leave you confused, so you will talk eventually but use this time to really analyze your relationship. Hope it works out
