college degree

I don't get this college thing how come there's people that gets a degree on something but gets a job that is not related to it?

i gues when they finally accomplish what they always wanted they've come to realize that the subject they majored in was not fulfilling. they think they could do somehting else in their lives. or they just went to college majoring in something their parents wanted them to then deciding to choose a career for themselves
