Burning a cd part 2

Question Posted Sunday March 4 2007, 10:31 am

So, once again, my laptop won't burn a cd. I click start burn, it says its loading, shuts my comp off. Advice I got was do a virus check, and I did, and there is no viruses. So what next? And, I have tried different disks.

It's not a virus or anything to do with your firewall/security software. It's probably a hardware problem. If your CD burner has a driver, reinstall it. If that doesn't work, make the computer crash again; then, when you restart it, immediately go to start>control panel>administrative tools>event viewer. Go to system errors. Find the most recent of type "error". Double click it. Click the link. It will tell you what's wrong. If that doesn't work, post your question to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) or [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Well, it may be because of your firewall OR if you have a PC laptop, it may be just because your computer is lagging.
Hope i helped!
