You can either 1, DO a sport. Or 2 you have to have a GOOD personality. Thats the only way. I mean you dont ususally know popular people who dont do either of those 2 things. Also a little bit of a help is if you are accepted as pretty or good-looking as in athletic type like not ugly you are 1 step there from popularity. Remember popularity starts in 6th-and ends in 8th grade. SO its much harder to get popular if you arent in high school. Dont try to hard. But you have to put some effort into it.

Compliment them on something they are wearing or ask them about a test coming up to break the ice. Maybe if you become friends with one, they can introduce you to others in the group. Just make sure you dont change yourself for them.
