Like the person below me said, if you want an art based career, art school is a good idea. If you want to have a professional career with art as a side job or a minor, a liberal arts college is a good alternative.

It depends. Do you want a career in art? If so, go to an arts school. If you want a well-rounded education because you're not sure if you want to be an artist, go to a liberal arts college and major in art.

if you go to an Arts School you'll probably get a better knowledge and understanding of the art and help with you r career in art if you want one. at Arts Schools they probably have more extensive programs that can help you with your courses more than a liberal arts school.
