SD Memory Card for Nikon D40 Camera 15/f
Hey, this question isn't about a computer but I feel this is an okay place for my question. I recently got a Nikon D40 camera. It is 6.1 megapixels. I have a 4GB SD memory card for it.
How many pictures should I be able to take on the automatic setting? I'm unsure of where to find this information on my camera, so if it is on the interent that would help a lot.
I tried google, but really don't know what to search for. Thanks, help is GREATLY appreciated! =)

The number of pictures you can take has nothing to do with your camera, but your memory card. And since you have a 4gb, it should hold over 400...seeing as I have a 2gb and mine holds 372.
Good luck. ]
Porbably not very many, since it's a high-megapixel camera. How big a picture is depends on lighting, color mode, etc.
Sometimes "displaying picture info" (or whatever its called on your camera) shows how many pictures are left in the memory of the camera. It shows up in one of the corners of the screen, usually lower-right.
