[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) am a professional hairstylist, but do not take my advice at word. I cannot fully analyze your situation without a current photograph front, side, and back. If you would like further advice, please contact me on AIM.

You're hair is going to be tricky to get it curly and wavy without being nappy. Depending on the length of your hair you can use a small barrel curling iron at a low setting to curl. But, since you just had a relaxer, use a cream, hair food, or gel specifically made for your hair BEFORE applying the heat. When curling your hair, section is starting underneath at the bottom most layer of hair . After making a curl, tug on curl until it's lose and spray with a tightener spray.

Good luck!

What I do is use styling mousse on wet hair. I scrunch my hair with the mousse and then put Frizz-Ease serum to prevent from frizzing later on. Than sometimes I put my hair in a bun and sleep on it and my hair comes out curly. You most likely don't have to put your hair in a bun because I haven't done that in a long time and I still get curly hair from the scrunching.
