'Favorites/Bookmarks' icons I'm adding bookmarks to the top of my Firefox browser for quick access. I don't title them, as all I need to do is see the picture (square icon) to know what the website is. (For example, Advicenators has an A next to the URL).
Some websites don't have an icon like that so I get a white box.
Is there a way to manipulate what the icons bookmarks icons look like for my computer.

The easiest way would be to install this extension, which gives you a GUI to customise your icons.

If you don't want to install anything or if the extension doesn't work, you can modify the icons by adding the following code which I found on
[Link](Mouse over link to see full location) to your userChrome.css.
.bookmark-item[id="rdf:#$xxxxxx"] {
list-style-image: url('[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)') !important;
-moz-image-region: rect(0px 16px 16px 0px) !important;
}
Replace the file paths and image file names accordingly. Image files can be .ico, .jpg, .png.
You can find the rdf ID of a bookmark by looking at the source code of bookmarks.html in your Firefox profile.
