For your spring picture day, you should wear bright, vibrant, and/or suttle colors such as yellow, green, blue, white, etc. Here's an outfit you might consider. You don't have to copy it to the T (if you want to that's perfectly fine) but this is just an idea...

or even just a simple sundress would bring beauty to the eye and would be perfect:

most of these items are not from Hollister, but again, you can make any alterations that you feel suit you-these ar ejust some ideas to start with. and remember-fun, bright, and vibrant clors=spring material. As for smiles, try sweet and soft smiles like:

the "scripps park" shirt is adorable in yellow. it looks like a spring shirt. =] wear this with ripped jeans/capris. be yourself in the picture and give a great big smile! ]
Wear what you normally wear. A top that you know doesn't slide down is preferable. A simple pattern (or solid color) is best since it doesn't distract the eye from the rest of the picture. Keep your makeup simple too. This is the day for a natural, sheer pink or something like that. Save the electric blue for another day.
As for a smile, you want it to look natural, not forced and fake. Think of something funny before they take the picture. Also, practice smiling the night before in a mirror so you know you're not smiling too much (you don't want your molars in plain sight and a scrunched-up nose!) ]
