getting over him
What are some good ways to get over a guy?
I liked him for a while, but i realized that he was a jerk.
I really hate him, but at the same time, my heart still flutters everytime i see him.
I've been kind of forcing myself to read his posts on other girls walls to prove to myself that he's not a great guy. its kind of working.
what else can i do?

wow. i'm in the same situation right now actually. i can't help it but i just can't seem to get over him. But what helped for a while was, I blocked him on my messenger programs so he wouldn't even have the opportunity to talk to me(even though he never did anyway) i couldn't see what his status was since he was blocked. I quit looking at his myspace and facebook pages (for a few days. it was hard not to) and i avoided him at all costs. This takes a lot of will power to do, but if you are really serious about moving on, it takes it. In the mean time, tell your good friends what you are trying to do and make them hold you to it. Go out with them, do fun stuff, answer other peoples questions on this website, anything that will keep you busy and help you think of other people instead of the heartache you are going through. And give it time.
