Ratings for feedabck

Question Posted Wednesday February 28 2007, 4:09 pm

Hey. Just yesterday my average feedback rating was a 4.79. Today it has gone down to a 4.76 but I don't understand why because my three newest feedbacks were all 5's. Does anyone know why this would happen because I'm probably missing something. Thanks so much in advance =).

Your average is for the month. So good scores are cut off every day, lowering your average. So if you have these scores:
5
4
4
5-29 days ago
5-29 days ago
the average will be 4.6. The next day the two last ones will be gone, and your score will be 4.3; it doesn't matter that you just got a 5.

It would go down because some of your ratings could have expired ; making the number of ratings going into the average number, decrease. & with less numbers to average into the overall - the number might not be as high.
