How can you find out who someone really is by they're email address someone sent me a nasty letter but they used a yahoo email address and I don't know who it is. So how can I find out?

You could try doing an IP trace. I don't have a yahoo account so I'm not totally familiar with the headers and so on. But there should probably be a number somewhere that looks something like 1.221.113.1 or something similar. If you can find that, you can manually compare it to the IP addresses on emails you've received from people you can identify.

If you google IP address, you should be able to get more information.

you cant really. try looking at their yahoo profile, try looking it up through myspace search, and hell, try plugging into google to see if anything comes up.
