horse back riding

Question Posted Saturday February 24 2007, 7:12 pm

for my 16th birthday i was thinking of going on a trail ride on horseback with my best friend. it is going to be just the two of us and the guide. it might be raining but my friend and i dont mind. for how long should i get the trail ride for? 1.5 hours or 2 hours? i dont want it to be too short but i dont want it to be too long either becuase i dont want us to get bored. we will be mostly walking the horses, but we might canter or trot once in a while, so in your answer dont worry weather the horses will be tired. thanks!!!

It depends on if you're used to riding.

If you've never ridden before, or don't ride on a regular basis, you're going to be pretty sore after an hour and a half. If you're experienced, well, you'd probably already know what you wanted to do.

So, I'd go with the 1.5.

I would go for 1 .5 hrs because then that will give you time for lunch, and you dont want to be too tired! It seems like a good amount of time!

hope i helped!
and happy birthday!
