Dermatologists are great. Visit one at least once. They can determine if you're reacting to, say, a hair product or a food. If you recnetly tried a new hairspray or something, that might be your problem right there.

As for at-home remedies, I recommend gentle cleansers. Try to get a product without anything funky.. even saluicyclic acid could irritate your skin. St. Ives Apricot Cleanser is nice. It moisturizes and balances my skin. Plus, it's only around $3 at WalMart/Target. So it's worth a try.

Cetaphil also has good cleansers for those with extremely sensitive skin (which, from how you describe yourself, is likely what you have). They tend to run a little more expensive (around $10-$15) so maybe get a trial size if you can find one first. But that's still a lot cheaper than a trip to the derm. My aunt uses Cetaphil with great results, and she's allergic to EVERYTHING (I'm talking deadly broccoli and cantaloupe allergies here). So I'm sure it'll work for you.

I don't know how dry your skin is. But a good moisturizer will help a lot regardless of your skin type. Also, use a sunscreen. I recommend Eucerin Original Cream (it comes in a tub) This stuff was a godsend when my excema got really bad a couple years back. Also, something less expensive (with built-in SPF) is Clean and Clear Morning Glow Moisturizer. Or anything similar to it. C&C has I think 4 different moisturizers like that one. They work well & are oil-free.

Sorry for the long answer, but I think you'll get something useful out of it.

I think you just have sensitive skin. I have a similair issue. Just touching my skin makes it turn red, and sometimes I walk around with red blotches on me! They usually go away fast, but I dont know of any way to stop it. Maybe talk to a dermatologist.

Okay. Well, if your skin is irritated easily, then some cleansers and skin products might irritate it more. You also said no makeup but makeup probably wouldn't even work in this case. Since I'm not a skin expert what I can tell you is to ask your mom to see a dermatologist for it. They are experts on this kind of thing (obviously) they most likely will have something to help! Another advice I can say is don't keep switching skin cleansers or anything when you have acne because that will irritate your skin big time! It wasn't the best advice but I gave it a shot :) Hope I helped
