Once you get his attention, try to play hard to get. Pretend that you don't like him, or that you're not impressed by him. But once he tries to start to talk to you more and acts like he likes you, don't keep playing hard to get. I have before, twice, and lost a boy to doing that (and I didn't even mean to do it!)
DON'T be clingy and call him constantly or follow him around. He'll think that you're desperate and annoying!
If you're talking to him, try to keep the convo going. Talk about thing that you both have in common. If you both like a similar sports team, or you both saw a really good movie. If you're talking about a good movie and it's sequal just came out, you can always say 'Since we both thought the first movie was hilarious, do you wanna go and see the second one together?'
