Time Zone
Does anyone know how many hours a head or behind London, England is from Eastern Standard Time? I'm going on there soon and I want to know when I can call my friends back home
I tried google and Yahoo and no answers came up.

London is 5 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time.
EASTERN LONDON
12:00 am 5:00am
12:00 pm 5:00pm
etc.
just add 5 hours to eastern time to get london's time, or subtract 5 hours from london's time to get eastern time.

Take eastern time and add 5 hours to it to get London time. Add 1 additional hour if it's British Summer Time(their version of daylight savings). British Summer Time occurs between the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October. Add another additional hour if it's also daylight savings time in the US.

its five hours ahead. (its 8:32 now so its 1:32 there) i live in florida so its eastern satndard.
