hair

Question Posted Thursday February 22 2007, 4:41 pm

Can you tell me what time exactly do you wake up for school, and tell me what exactly you do to your hair before you go to school? Girls in my class looks exactly like you and I heard it takes a lot of work with make up and hair and stuff. One day this girl came in and her hair was pretty good but not really because she woke up late. I want my hair to look like them (long, naturally straight look, non frizzy) but that would be so annoying askign them THOUSANDS of what they do to them selves. Oh and the products you use too?

Hey, well I am not in school at the moment. (Graduated last May & taking a year off before starting college.) But, I do work every morning & since I prefer to take a shower in the mornings, I need a little over an hour to get ready. For my hair - I wash it, apply Matrix Sleek Look Smoothing System to my hair to reduce frizz, blow dry it (takes a ridiculous 15 minutes), & straighten it. My hair is already naturally straight, but it's less poofy & better looking when I go over it with a flat iron. After I'm done "styling" it, I use a little bit of S-Factor Dream drops to smooth it out even more. I've used quite a lot of products out there & I think those two are far the best. They're a little bit on the pricey side, but they're worth it if you do a lot of heat & dying damage to your hair like me. (Matrix is around $15-$20 depending where you go. & S-Factor is $30-$35 at Toni & Guy salons.) Also, make sure you have a good shampoo & conditioner. I use Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey Shampoo & Conditioner. (For the big bottles they're about $26 each. They're $6 more expensive at the Toni & Guy salons - which is their line, so try to get them at any other salon that carries it.) If you want a less expensive brand, I suggest Pantene Pro V or Biolage products. :)
