Question Posted Wednesday February 21 2007, 11:16 pm
I'm soooo shy. I was never like
this until this school year. I
let people walk ALL over me. They
can talk shit about me when i'm right
there + i'll just take it! I'm too shy
to do anything about it. Anything I can
do to kinda become "tougher".. or just
less shy? thanks tonsss :]

Thief answered Saturday October 13 2007, 5:16 am: i would have to say dear is that you don't have confidence in yourself, to have people walk all over you? ca'mon? You know what? just look in the mirror and think "Badass" or " im not goona take this shit no mo'" and if people talk shit, walk right up and tell them to say it in your face and quit being a pussy talking behind your back or to their friends. You don't have to be a total dick but show some backbone, don't be afriad to scare people and being those typical dantay " oh im a women so im suppost to be meck" no you go the next day at school and you walk with your head held up high and you look people in the eye. That way everyonme will notice that you ain't taking shit from no one ^^ O've had experiance with this sorta thing too so no need to worry. Anyway take care of youself and tell me what happens ok? good luck, i know you can do it. Just think badass ^^ [ Thief's advice column | Ask Thief A Question ]

Sometimes just ACTING like you have confidence makes confidence. So take little steps. When you here somebody trashing you, stand up for yourself. (I'd tell them to shove it, but thats just me lol)
Dont let others take advantage of you. Be nice, but if you really dont feel right about something, let it be heard. Dont fall into peer pressure. Saying no once makes it easier each time. I know its hard to come out of your shell, but if you take it little by little it will become easier and easier.
