wELL. In my opinion...dont anounce LOVE...unless ur like 50% sure he likes you...i mean you dont want to scare the man off do ya? Well....invite hime somewhere. Ice skating? Movies? Just give him the messege you wanna hang out and TALK.
Afterwards... take it slow. Start out by flirting. Tell him old stories from the 7th gade??
Then say "Ive known you for a while...and i really like you.." then say somethingg like "ill totally understand if you dont see me that way.." Just so he knows that your still his friend no matter what.

well one way you could do it is leave little hints that say you like him. not literally but just do little things for him that no one else may do. or maybe next time you talk to him [or when you feel ready] just tell him that you've been feeling differently about him. the worst thing he could say is that he doesnt like you in that way. hope this helps!!!
