Singing voice=Horrible

ok well i have a horrid singing voice and well me and some friends are starting a band and well im supposed to be one of the singers is there anyway i can make my voice better without seeing a music person and being taught a bunch of stuff because with my voice i wont sing at all in front of anyone no matter who it is. so that wont work.

best i can do for you, my singing voice is quite horrid as well.

have you thought about doing something else in the band, like playing an instrument?
