if you call someone out of your state (on a cell phone), how much more does that cost? and what if you text them? does that cost more? thanks.

it depends on what cell service provider you have and what your plan entails. i have a cingular nationwide plan, so i can call my sister who lives two hours away and it doesn't even count against my minutes because i have free mobile to mobile. you'd have to call your cell phone company to figure that out. it shouldn't cost more to text them. however, if you are text messaging somebody who lives in a different country, that is a different story. when i went to australia (i live in texas) it cost me 50 cents to send texts to my parents. then again, i was not even in the same hemisphere as them.
