how long does skin fungus take to go away?

You`ll have to try google and try to label all the symptoms, because there's a lot of different types of skin fungus. Good luck.

It depends on the variety of fungus (like dermatophytes), the location (they like dark and damp), your immune system, and what you treat it with. There are a lot of types of fungus, including jock itch, athlete's foot, and ringworm. There are a great number of over-the-counter treatments. If you use a good, strong treatment, it could take from a few days to about 3 weeks.
