Is it more like when you go all red in the face and head over heels, or can it also be like... you feel happier than usual when you see the person... you feel strangely like you want to be around them a lot..?
I feel slightly different around this one guy friend than around the others. I'm not quite sure what to do about it.

I know when I like someone I'm always trying to spend time with them, make them laugh, and talk to them about anything- even if I make a fool of myself. Basically when someone likes someone, they try to get that person to notice them so that they might actually end up liking them. If you want to get someone to like you, be sure to never act like someone different; someone fake, because if you don't act yourself then that person could fall for you because of the different person you are acting as.
Also, when people like someone, they do tend to feel different around them then they would around their friends.
