my teacher

Question Posted Saturday February 10 2007, 10:00 am

15/f

ok i know this is going to sound very weird, but i am in love with my english teacher. I can't help it, it's not just a silly crush that can go away. But i'm not an idiot, obviously i have a
.000000000000000000000001 % chance of anything happening with her, i understand that. She is a poet, amazing, beautiful. I really like creative writing, like i'm very good at fiction, an I know she realizes that.
I'm just wondering, because i'm even happy just going to class everyday and seeing her, i want to impress her, so i'm just wondering, what can I do? Not to flirt or something like that, just to make her notice me, think highly of me, i don't know, but i am so in love and so desperate to impress her, is that wrong? what should i do?

Well

I think it is wrong on many levels.
1 it is a teacher
2 it is a chic teacher.

I reccomend you go to your mom and dad and tell them what you think about this teacher. If you don't want to go to mom and dad, ask yourself why.
If you know you are really in love with your teacher, you won't give a damn about what your parents think. And when your finish, tell your best friend your feelings too.

I think you should sit down, and just pretend like nothing ever happened.

It is normal to have a crush on a teacher. When I was a senior in HS a few years back, nearly all the guys had a crush on our econ. teacher. Anyway, the point is that it's completely normal for you to be having these feelings. But, you should keep some things in mind, since she is your teacher:

1) Never try impressing your teacher (or anyone else for that matter), just for the sake of impressing them. Be yourself. If you know you're good at the subject, it'll shine through in your work, and it should make you proud...that's all that matters.

2) Realize that this is your teacher we're talking about, not some random person on the street. I know you admire her in many ways, but that's all that it should be.

3) Again, be yourself. Forget about trying to impress your teacher too much. Focus on your own work, and remind yourself that you're the student, and she's the teacher.

Get some counselling. You shouldn't be in love with your teacher. If you wanna impress her, just try your hardest on everything you do, get good grades & have a good standing in the class.
