Hey you know, you said that it is illegal to download maple via bittorrent. But isnt it illegal to download practically everything, like eg music files?
So i was thinking, when you said illegal, do you mean that I'd more likely be tracked down for downloading maple as compared to movie/music files?

The world of warcraft updater, for instance, uses bittorrent. Most Linux distributions are downloaded using bittorrent, legally. I was warning you that this specific use of bittorrent was illegal because you might not have known otherwise, not because it's more illegal than anything else. If you're downloading lots of illegal stuff using bittorrent, I recommend you download Peer Guardian, which makes you mostly invisible to the RIAA, MPAA, etc.: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
After you install it, right click the icon and uncheck "block http", or it will block you from accessing RIAA web sites, too. Also, since AT&T is evil, if you use them for internet you'll have to unblock them. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
