How I feel

Question Posted Wednesday February 7 2007, 8:17 pm

I don't know why, but I always feel like all I ever do is work. I go to school and work my ass off. I come home and work hard on my homework only to worry if I did it right and if I'm going to get a good grade. I have to make good grades because thats how I've been raised and I think to be able to become something important I need to. I worry about everything. I've been going through depression for a while for a few reasons. One is I feel ugly and need a better body. I pretty much hate myself. Another is I always feel when someone is nice to me there is something they want like a hidden reason. I'm negative and tend to think the worst of people. I don't trust people easy and can't believe anyones genuine. I just can't get past any of this especially how I look. I know that sounds shallow, but with all this I feel like all I do is work and feel horrible. I feel like I'm constently under stress. I mean yes I have a great boyfriend, but that is about it. I have good parents, but my friends werent real friends if you can understand that. I started a new school and I'm working on making new friends. I always feel different though. I just want to be happy so if you have any suggestions or thoughts on this or can somewhat relate anything would be appreciated.

I can relate to you in that I don't think I'm beautiful either but talk to you boyfriend and if you're stressed out just call him and hang out with him just to relax because that's what he's there for. My boyfriend always gets mad at me if I don't call him when I really need him. Another good thing to get in the habit of doing to get out all of your feelings is writing. I love to write myself and it always helps me feel better and to get the weight off of my shoulders. It doesn't have to be perfect, just write what you feel and just keep a notebook of your writing. I myself have several notebooks filled and I've also ventured into poetry, but that's just me. I hope I was able to help you out!

I always say to write things down and get your feelings out and on paper so you`ll have them out in the open and you`ll feel better. Try talking to your boyfriend and maybe he can make you feel better. Don't stress about homework, take some time to do things for yourself too.
