theres this software that gives you free ringtones but they like send it to your phone.. and i was wondering if this was true? like do the ringtones cost money? and i know it sends you a text and i have cingular so would it be just 10 cents per text or would it be more? i dont want any charges onto my phone

It says right in the FAQ, here you go:

Will I receive charges on my air bill (carrier bill)?

Depending on what carrier you have, you may or may not recieve additional charges on your air bill. In order to deliver the ringtone, wallpaper, video or game, ToneThis sends a text message to your phone. On some carriers text messaging is free, on other carriers, it's 1-2 cents each time you recieve one. For Verizon users, we send an MMS (picture message), the cost for these are usually higher.
