dating

Question Posted Sunday February 4 2007, 5:32 pm

Last night was a school dance. I didn't have a date (not for lack of trying), so I went stag for the day-date with my friends and the dinner. After dinner, we had an hour until the dance was supposed to start, so we went to walmart, where another of my friends works. He couldn't go because he had to work, but it turned out he got off work at 9, so I talked him into coming tot he dance when he got off work to be my date. After he got to the dance we danced every song except one and we held hands when we were in line for pictures or waiting for the rest of our group. When we went for ice cream after he opened my doors and put his arm around me when we were walking. I had a good time, and he said he did too, but I was wondering if I should ask him to go out with me again, and if so, how soon? 16/f

Just because you had a good time don't rush into anything. 16 is an age where guys will act very nice just to get some. He sounds nice, but find out his history first. DO NOT rush into anything. Hang out with him, ask him about himself and previous relationships. Anywho...good luck.

You should ask him out when you feel like you're ready =)
It seems you both like each other, thats my opinion, so I guess you both would make a great relationship, but no need to rush at all, when you feel like you're ready then ask him out. Hope I helped =)

Whenever you want. It sounds like you hit it off so go for it. You might not want to wait to long because he might not realize that your interested and go for someone else. Hope I helped =D

i would say that give it some time and see how things go you know mabe something bad might happen give it a few weeks and if everything goes smoothly then i would take it to the next level.Just take the time to have fun and you never know whatll happen he might ask you first.

If I were you, I would wait about a week, so it won't sound like you're obsessed/stalking in, and so it won't give him time to forget. Because it sounds like he really likes you, but don't be too serious, because he might have felt like he had to do it, since he was your date and all.

awww these stories make me cry because i never seem to have a date. well the obvious answer is YES. if he had a good time and you guys held hands and he put his arm around you then what the hell are you waiting for?!?! call him up or text him or talk to him online or at school and ask him if he wants to go to the movies or mall or something. and once you keep going on dates he could end up as your boyfriend!! dont be afraid to make the first move.

mucho love,
