back to stand

Question Posted Saturday February 3 2007, 10:04 pm

how do people do this:
they're laying on their back, and then they use their legs and arms to push them up, standing up. You don't roll over your back. its just like popping up. i don't know how to explain it, but if you know thanks!

A bridge?

Anyway, get a friend to (carefully) lift up your back, then try it on your own.

I actually do it sitting up, but I was a gymnast. The way above is the most basic way to do it.

umm do you mean when they are laying down on their backs...and then your kind of "jump" up?

if that is what your talking about then what you can do is start laying down on your back. and then you should bend and swing your legs really hard from up in the air down so that your back and butt gets lifted up by the momentum. i'm sorry if this is confusing but just try it and you should see what i mean.

good luck =]
