neck problem, pimples, pedicure, unibrow

Question Posted Saturday February 3 2007, 7:31 am

um.. this is seperate questions, all under the same topic. each paragraph marks a seperate question. thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :]

I have like lines on my neck.. like different sections of my neck, that are different colors, kinda. i used to think it was normal, till i noticed nobody else had them. my mom says its okay and shes a nurse, but i dunno... why was i like this? is it really not a bad thing? im black, too.

also, i have like little pimples on my face. i try doing things to wash my face, but they've never completely gone away.. I've had pimples since 4th grade, but they were small, well sometimes they got kinda big, but you could still see them. what can i use? it cant be too strong or it will probably like peel my skin, cause im only thirteen.

also, when you get a pedicure, do they also like clean your toes, and not just the toenails? cause my toes look pretty crappy right now, and i wanna get a pedi so i can show them off soon in sandals in spring, lol. how much is a pedi anyway? I've never had one.

LASTLY, i have kinda like a few hairs in the middle of my eyebrows. it stinks cause it makes that park look darker kinda, and sort of uneven. and my eyebrows like kinda stick up at some points so its pointyish. my mom and sister dont pluck their eyebrows but how can i learn to do it or get them done (for free or something?) so i dont have this problem? i'll probably look so much better once they're done. and like how much money is it to go to the mall in some makeup store and have them try some make up on your face that fits your skin tone and such? i dunno how to use make up, haha and my mom doesn't use like eyeshadow and stuff, which I wanna see how it looks on me.

THANKS for replying to this long question!

1.) If she's a nurse & she knows what she's talking about, it's probably nothing to worry about. But I'd suggest seeing a doctor just incase.

2.) I don't normally get acne. Actually, almost never. But when I have, I tried multiple products that never worked. The best one, I've came across is Oxy. For more serious acne, I'd suggest Proactiv.

3.) Yes, they clean your entire feet. & sometimes even massage your lower legs. Most decently priced places charge about $25. If you want to save money & give yourself a pedicure, follow the steps I gave someone in another advice question: [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

4.) For eyebrows, go get them waxed. They cost about $6-$10 on average. After they're waxed & shaped, just maintain them by plucking. For makeup, some places won't charge anything. & some won't charge anything as long as you buy a product. Just talk to one of the lady's at any makeup counter in a department store & they'll pick out your perfect shade & suggest colors that best suit you. :)

im ganna answer it in the order you asked.

1. okay for the color line things.. i don't really know about that. i would just take your moms word for it. maybe its like from wearing shirts that are too tight or something.

2. i would buy proactive. i have it and it works good. like really good i use it at night before i go to bed. and then i take a shower in the morning. its kind of pricey but its SOO worth it.

3. they ussaully wash your feet and like massache them or w.e. and then they use a lufa and take the take skin off on your feet. they shape your nails and they clean under them and stuff. its worth it. so yeah they clean your nails and sorta your toes.

4. get them waxed. it doesn't really hurt.. well at least not for me. its SEROUISLY worth it. they shape them in a way that compliments your face structure and stuff. so i would say get the. you cant get them free but they can be from like 5-15 dollars depending on where you go.

www.seventeen.com has good ideas and for hair, make up, clothes, and pretty much everything. make sure tho when your doing your make up you give it a NATURAL look to it. i would say just get black eyeliner and maybe a few other things.

if you have anymore questions write back.

hope i helped. =]
