ok. today i got this really dry | sore throat so i got a drink and it helped with the dryness but not the soreness. and i have naturally large tonselles [sp?] but ive never had strep throat so the doctor wont remove them , but i decided to take a look in my mirror + my tounge was blackish [ewwiee] some bumps toward the back , my tonsells [sp?] are bigger , and the dangly thing is really short. so i was like well , i had chiesee so i brushed my teeth and the blackish stuff came off. but my tounge then turned white. i also had this sore throat thing earler this year and the doctor said it was nothing to worry about. but i had it over the summer too. and he said it was just a sore throat. but im starting to wonder. i told my mom and she gave me some mouth wash [ i ran out of mine ] but it didnt help.. she said she'll look tommorow. but im afraid something serious is happneing here. please help me.

Ok, real quick, by means 'my tounge turned white' look if on the top of your tounge is white, or has some white stuff, that's fine, it tells on how healthy we are eating(Weird huh?) But honestly you should see a doctor to make sure everything thing is ok, it is better safe than sorry! And yeah...stop kissing the boyfriend till you know what is wrong! I wish you luck!

That doesnt sound too good. I would go to Wal mart or a store near you and get a tongue scrapper...Yes, there is a such thing and it works. After you use it, make sure to gargle with water. You can also try gargling with sea salt. If none of these work i would seriously go to the doctors to make sure everythings okay. I would for the meantime stop kisssing youre boyfriend, just to be on the safe side.

this doesnt really sound good.. i never heard of anything like this. My advice is go to the doctor immediatly... better safe than sorry. And yes i would stop kissing your boyfriend JUST to be safe.
