hey all you out there, i've been having a problem with being constantly single, and i was wondering if anyone could help me out with it. i'm in college right now and i'm average looking. but it seems like no one is attraced to me that way, now i go to parties i mingle and shit like that but even when i start to hit it off with a girl i find out that she's already with someone already... i don't know why i have the luck to pick out every single taken chick but i do... well if anyone's got some advice for me (and don't think about saying "just wait for the right girl" cause it's not happening) it's much appreciated

Like the people said below me your in college live it up while you can because once the relationships start getting serious (i.e marriage) then your gonna wish you had partied. but if you reallyyy want a gf then get more involved in social activites or start talking to girls you wouldn't normally go after..sounds stupid but you might actually end up falling for one of them, basically just try a different variety of girls. Make yourself seem more available and outgoing, be confident and the girls will come to you so it wont really be a one way effort to find someone. Either way don't give up.

Hah I know your situation and it sucks. I've been single for awhile and I HATE IT TOO (except I'm a girl lol). But the guy below me is right, you're in college, live it up! When the time comes for the serious relationship, it'll just happen. Love comes to you when you're not expecting it. I know you said not to say this, so sorry but its the best advice =[ but Just let it happen. Untill then, Have as much fun being single as possible. Turn a bad situation into a good one, or at least try.
If all else fails, call a 900 number when you're feeling lonely
*** Okay, since you're not happy with that, You could be more outgoing with guys and girls, because guys will know who's single. Or make yourself hotter by working out and buying some new clothes... Or just lower your standards. You could be being too picky. Or ask your friends if they know any single girls, then ask them to invite both of you out to lunch with them. If you hit it off, ask for her number and take it from there. Ask one of your girl friends to set you up with one of her single friends, and have her talk you up first. There are many options.

Stay single.
You and I are in the same situation- 18 year old college bachelors. Just as an example- did you know that in Manhattan below 96th street there is the highest amount of single people in the whole world? And I go to school there :-P So why limit myself to one serious girl when I have sooo many around?
18 and college is not a time for serious relationships- it's a time for being out there and having fun and experiencing life before it's all over and you have to get a career and your life in order. THEN you will be ready to settle down and find the true right one.
Plenty of girls out there share this same idea- going out there, having no strings attached fun and just enjoying themselves. You got all the time in the world for girlfriends.
