i just got a new computer and i wanna transfer the songs on my ipod to my computer. i would put the songs on cd's and put them on the new computer, but there are over 1000 songs.

when you connect your USB cord into the computer to charge your iPod, it puts all of the songs into your library automatically from your iPod so that you have them on the new computer. I did that when I moved from my dads to my moms and it worked.

Do you have a USB port and a USB cable to connect to your Ipod? If so, you can easily transfer all of the songs from your ipod to your computer. Would take a bit time since that is a lot of songs, but once your usb is connected (and by going to my computer -- > usb [name/brand]), it simply transfers them.
