How can I keep my relationship?

Question Posted Wednesday January 31 2007, 11:00 am

I'm a 17/f and my senior year is just whizzing by. I'm already getting prepared for college in the fall. I have a boyfriend, 21/m, that I have been seeing for nearly a year and a half now. It's pretty serious. When I leave for college in the fall, what are some ways I can still show that I love him and keep our bond as strong as it is? Is there anything I can do besides drive back home to see him every weekend?

Hey. Well if you two seriously think you're in love first of all congrats =). But anyways if you seriously think you're in love you can do several things that will show him you're still thinking about him. You can call him whenever you get the chance, if he has e-mail e-mail him, or instant message (whatever for of communication), you can call him whenever you think of it and tell him how much you miss him, you can send him little notes or letters saying "I miss you" or "thinking about you" or "I can't wait to see you". Also, you can send him a whole letter too. You can try to both pick days where you can each get together and do something. Try calling him unexpectantly and setting up a day to see him and doing something Big. Things such as going to a play and sleeping over somewhere with him or going into the biggest city near you. You can also show up unexpectantly to surprise him which will show him how much you care too. He will see what an effort you're making as I'm sure he'll make one too and your bond will stay as strong as ever, maybe stronger. I really hope this helped! =)

Well if you two are seriously in love and wanting to make it work, you will defanitely think of ways to keep it going! I mean maybe you wont be able to see him every weekend but that will only make yall miss eachother even more! All i can say is that if you're serious about it it will defanitely work out! If you really want to surprise him send notes that say "thinking of you", show up unexpectedly, call him to tell him that you miss and love him. Just little things like that will show him that you really and truly care! Hope this helps!! Much Love...~*Haley*~
