I have a 1973 Ford F-100 with a 1976 F-150 body. its got 4.56 gears and its locked front and rear. currently it has a NP205 transfer case but i want to get dual cases. I have heard of mating the NP203 to the NP205 but i dont know if any adapter plates are necessary or what the process is for doing this. Your opinion on how to do this project is greatly apprieciated.
Additional info, added Monday January 29 2007, 7:22 pm: BTW it has the ford C-6 three speed automatic transmission and the old 360 CID (5.9L) V8. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with it unless you get someone who really knows what they're doing to do it.
