There's this guy I like...a LOT! But...does he like me?

Question Posted Monday January 29 2007, 5:55 pm

Okay, I'm fourteen, a girl, and in desperate need of some advice. There's this guy I like (he's two years older than me, if that makes any difference) and he goes to a different school than I do. So, I only see him once a week at karate--sometimes not even that! Now, I found out that he likes practically everything I like. He seems a little nervous when he talks to me though, and I find him occasionally looking at me. But if I look at him, he quickly turns away.
Now here's the problem. I convinced him to try out for his school's play, since he never did before, and he tried out. Not so bad, right? My friend's friend knows more about him though, so I asked her about him. She said he was in all of the previous plays, that he's never had a grilfriend, and that he's a loser! That's horrible! But, did he really lie to me? We're friends, why would he do that? It's just...some people say he likes me, and it's just...no one I know is like him. And the signs are there...so...does he like me?

It sounds like he likes you! It dosn't matter what your friends friend said! If he's nice and is honest then it dosn't matter what they say. If he did lie to you ask him why and he will tell you what happened. But it does sound that he likes you!

Hey. That's horrible that your friend said that about anyone. She may have just been jealous and she could have lied to you. It Definitely sounds as if he likes you without a doubt from an outsiders point of view. He may have told you he's never been in a play before to make it like if you told him to go for him, you helped him out a great deal. He may have felt that this would make you feel great that you helped him out and would make you like him more. It does sound like that girl was jealous though so I would definitely go for it with this guy! Who cares what other people say, don't listen to anyone. It could be true love! I really hope this helped and good luck! =)

I think he pretty much does like you. If hes a nerd who cares! if he likes you and you like him then go for it! its love! heres a quote that i like: I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure--which is:
Try to please everybody.

i hope you get something from this advice and this quote. =]
