I've been considering playing lacrosse in the spring. I'm really nervous about it, because I've never in my life pciked up a lacrosse stick, and a lot of the girls on the team have played since the fifth grade, and are amazing at it.
I played field hockey in the fall and was okay at it, but I'm nervous about playing lacrosse, mostly becuase I'm intimidated about the girls who are doing it.
Any suggestions as to what I should do?

If you have a friend that does play lacrosse, ask her if she wants to throw around a ball a little bit with you? Try not to be intimidated by the other girls. Show CONFIDENCE! Trust me, confidence will take you a lot further, even if you have no idea what you're doing, than if you showed none. Just try your absolute best, and show confidence. If you're not sure with what you need, you'll need a stick, a mouth guard, goggles, and cleats. You can even use the same cleats that you used for field hockey (I'm pretty sure).

She just worked really hard, practiced in our backyard and became amazing. She even made varisty. Just work hard and practice ALOTT. LOL. Just give it your all, you'll do great!
