Cartilage Piercings

Question Posted Monday January 29 2007, 4:04 pm

Hey. My field hockey season ends on February 4th. Softball tournaments start around the mid/end of April. If I get my cartilage pierced after field hockey, do you think it will be okay if i have to take it out for 5 hours every weekend for softball in April? Thank you!

Ehh, you'd be pushing it a little close there. The time frame your looking at is a little less that two months. You are supposed to leave the earring in for one to two months. But I suppose if it's only for those five hours and you put it right back in after the game/practice you'd be fine.

Yes, as long as you clean it and take care of it like you should, it only takes about a month or so to heal so you should be ok.
