i play soccer too and my coach said to inhale and exhale slowly when your running. its bad to breathe super hard. i listened to him and it was easier to run and breathe. and pasta is the best thing to eat for running.
WHAT TO EAT: Because glucose is the preferred energy source for most exercise, a pre-exercise meal should include foods that are high in carbohydrates and easy to digest. This include foods such as pasta, fruits, breads, energy bars and drinks. drink your water too!

start running now, a mile or two a day at a fast jog, and afterwards ust do some sprints. when you are jogging get into a pace where you breathe every 3 steps or something, just find your rhythm, like a drum and stick with it. Don't worry if you get tired out because you'll see a difference pretty quickly. also, eat something small and not too heavy about a half hour before you run. don't eat lots of sugar and fatty foods or junk foods before hand, don't run on a super empty stomach either. Good luck!
